Home care specialists, Oxford Aunts, have celebrated their office move with an open day and recruitment event. Attended by the local community, staff, carers and clients, the open day took place at their new premises at Oasis Business Park, Eynsham on 30 March. As well as celebrating the relocation of premises, the care company also held a recruitment event, with interviews taking place throughout the day for prospective carers local to Oxford, with two hires being made for their new hourly care service. There has been some exciting changes over the past month at Oxford Aunts, with the move into our new office in Eynsham and welcoming new faces to the team. Recently, Kerri-Anne joined us in her new role as Head of Oxford Aunts, she will be responsible for improving the company’s overall operations and efficiencies. Kerri-Anne previously worked as a Regional Operations Manager for our sister company, The Good Care Group, so has a successful background in senior roles and brings with her knowledge and experience within the care sector. A key part of being a registered manager is ensuring all our care workers and clients are safe.  As well as managing incidents effectively and working closely with the operations, recruitment and clients services teams to discuss new clients and carers. World Kindness Day took place on the 13th November. It is a day to celebrate and promote kindness in all its forms. During the week of the 7th – 13th November we got involved and celebrated as a reminder to make kindness the norm in daily life. It is always great to put a smile on someone’s face. 

On Friday the 4th November, Head of Sales Shila Odedra-Silvera and Kate represented Oxford Aunts at the Multicultural Apprenticeship Awards, 2022. We knew that we achieved finalist status and were shortlisted, but we are so proud of winning this award. 

At Oxford Aunts we are a community that cares.  With events back on the calendar there is no better way to raise awareness of what we do than by attending community events.  That’s why we are attending the Marlow May Fayre and the Headington Festival.
