Whether you are applying from overseas or are a local carer, our straightforward recruitment process could see you accepted onto our induction training programme that we run weekly in Oxford or London in as little as three or four days.

To apply for a job as a carer at Oxford Aunts, you must complete a simple online application form.
SKYPE INTERVIEW
If you have completed the online application successfully and we are interested to talk to you, we will arrange a Skype interview with you at a mutually convenient time. We will also ask you to complete our Situational Judgement Test (SJT) so we can understand how you make decisions and if you have the aptitude to deliver the high-quality care our clients should expect. It also gives us insight into your personality and capabilities so we can better match you to a client.
PLACEMENT OFFER
If you successfully complete your interview and we would like you to join the Oxford Aunts team, we will ask you to join the next induction training week in Oxford. Our central care management team is there to support you with all the information you need to start training.
INDUCTION TRAINING
When we welcome you to our four and a half day training programme one of our Care Managers will meet with you to explore further your skills, personality and expectations so we can get to know you better to enable effective matching with one of our clients.
PLACEMENT START
Once you have successfully completed the final day of induction training, we will then discuss and offer you a placement, if we have one available. If we do not have a placement immediately available, we will be able to give you a clear view of what is coming up. Whilst we endeavour to ensure we have the right placement for you at the end of training this cannot always be guaranteed.
We will support you with accommodation for the week after training on one of our properties in Oxford, the cost of which is met by Oxford Aunts if we do not offer you a placement within 7 days of completing training. Otherwise you will need to pay for the accommodation which is heavily subsidised when compared with other local hotel accommodation.
