GET AN ASSESSMENT

At Oxford Aunts we want to make it straightforward to organise a live-in care service with us. There are four simple steps to get a live-in care service in place.

Contact our friendly and approachable care team

We know through our experience of organising live-in care for thousands of families that it works best for us to have an initial discussion with you to really explore your care needs and what is important to you about the service we provide. At this stage we will be able to give you an indication as to live-in care costs. Get in touch today on 01865 791017 – we are here to help you every step of the way.

Comprehensive assessment of needs

If you are happy to proceed to an assessment we will book time for our expert Care Assessor to meet you and your family at a convenient time, either at your home or in hospital if you are awaiting discharge. This will allow our Care Assessor to create a highly personalised plan of care that will ensure all your needs are met. Once you have approved the plan of care, we will confirm in writing the level of care we will provide and the weekly cost of care.

Matching the perfect carer

As soon as you confirm you wish to proceed, we then work to find you a carer that is experienced to meet not just your specific care needs, but is aligned to your background, interests and values, and is available in the time you require. You will then be able talk to the carer we have selected together on the telephone ahead of them coming to care for you in your home.

Carer placement

We will then organise a service start date with you and your family and support our carers travel arrangements to come to your home. It doesn’t stop there. We continue to provide unrivalled levels of support to you, your family and our carer to ensure the highest standards of live-in care are delivered from day one. Our Care Assessor will then conduct a formal review of your service and the plan of care to ensure it continues to be effective in meeting your needs, as well as discuss any concerns you may have. The timing of this review is based on the client’s individual situation and care needs. Care needs are reviewed continually by our experienced carers with support from our expert care management team throughout the time we are caring for a client.
