OXFORDSHIRE CARE AWARDS 2022 – LEADERSHIP AWARD WINNER

On the 25th April we attended the Oxfordshire Care Awards, ‘2022 Inspiration for All!’ It was a wonderful experience as these enhanced awards are all-inclusive.  They bring together statutory and independent care providers, the community/voluntary sector and unpaid carers to celebrate outstanding care in Oxfordshire.

We received recognition in the following three categories which was an achievement in itself:

  • Care Employer Award
  • Long-Term Service Award
  • Leadership Award

We are very pleased and excited to announce that Oxford Aunts were provided with the Leadership Award!

Here is what Louise Joslin, our General Manager, had to say about winning this award –

“Today I was given a Leadership Award by the Oxfordshire Association of Care Providers. This is a huge honour and I feel most humble. Let’s be honest no leader is anything without a great team supporting.

It was very interesting to hear that there are still perceptions ‘out there’ that the care sector doesn’t offer career opportunities. When I reflect on my journey in care, my experience and skills continue to develop and there is most certainly a career happening here. I will ensure to play a part in the mission to raise the profile of the care sector.”
