Many of our clients are based in and around Northamptonshire so we have a regional team made up of a Care Assessor and Care Manager who may support you and your family whilst we are providing live-in care to you.
I’m Amy, Care Manager for Region 2. I have worked for Oxford Aunts since September 2021. As a Care Manager, I am the first point of contact for our live-in carers in the Region 2 area. I work closely with the Care Assessor, Kylie Wharton, to support our clients and their families, and to build relationships with them and our carers. I enjoy reading, walking my dog, and spending time with my family.
I have worked in care for 20 years, starting as a Domiciliary Carer and progressing to an in-house Support Worker for people with learning disabilities. I have also been a Live-in Carer and worked as a Field Supervisor for Sevacare before joining Helping Hands as a Care Coordinator. From there, I realised that I enjoyed the live-in sector and joined Oxford Aunts.
During my 20 years in the care industry, I have gained experience with dementia, end-of-life care, catheter care, PEG, stoma care, autism, learning disabilities, challenging behaviour, and many other areas of care.
I hold an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care and aim to work towards my Level 5.
