Our reputation is built on high standards of live-in care in Fleet, local expertise and an approach to care delivery that is trusted by families throughout our community and beyond. All our carers are experienced and most have worked for us for many years. We are experts in providing specialist care of complex conditions, like dementia, Parkinson’s or Multiple Sclerosis (MS) or for those recovering from a stroke or for those who need cancer care or palliative care.

A fully managed and regulated live-in care service

Our fully managed live-in care service in Fleet means that all our carers are employed by us whilst they care for you. A local care management team of care experts is on hand to provide support to not just to our clients’ and their family members, but also our carer to ensure the highest quality care is provided. We are also regulated by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), unlike introduction agencies who will simply provide you with a carer for you to manage yourself. We are proud to have been rated ‘Good’ by CQC in all five measures – safe, caring, effective, responsive and well-led. We know our service provides families with peace and mind that their loved one is receiving the best possible care and eases the burden of managing a care arrangement themselves for their loved one.

Expertly trained carers in Fleet

All our dedicated carers receive marketing leading training developed by care experts, which goes beyond mandatory training. This enables our carers to support those living with complex conditions, such as dementia or Parkinson’s that require more monitoring, care and support.

From induction training, into placement and beyond and we ensure our carers continually develop their knowledge and skills so that our clients receive the best possible care now and in the future.

Local, dedicated care management near you

We provide live-in care in Fleet and its surrounding counties. Each regional team is made up of a dedicated Care Assessor local to you who is on hand to provide an unrivalled level of support to you, your family and our carer. They are supported by a Care Manager at our central office who handles all other aspects of care delivery to ensure a quality service is delivered, every time.

Our care management team in Fleet only has a small portfolio of clients to support, enabling the care team to provide a highly personalised and quality live-in care service in Fleet and beyond, whilst clients receive more levels of monitoring and day-to-day support.

A multidisciplinary approach

As an established live-in care provider in Fleet, we have built strong relationships with local healthcare professionals, including GP’s, district nurses, local Clinical Commissioning Groups and other charitable organisations and community healthcare services. This means we can provide a multidisciplinary approach to care at home that is focused on improving health and wellbeing whilst avoiding any unnecessary hospital admissions and enabling swifter discharge from hospital.

We have developed strong relationships with those responsible for hospital discharge at the following hospitals in Hampshire:

  • Royal Hampshire County Hospital
  • Basingstoke and North Hants Hospital

Many of our clients are based in and around Hampshire so we have a regional team made up of a Care Assessor and Care Manager who can support you and your family whilst we are providing live-in care to you.

Parmjit DulaiI started my career as a nurse having qualified as a Registered Nurse in 1987. For seven years I was a Practice Nurse at a GP practice before I started my family. When I returned to work, I decided to become a carer working for a domiciliary care agency providing hourly care to older people, where I progressed my career and became a Care Manager. I joined Oxford Aunts in 2019 and whilst my previous care role gave me good experience, I am thrilled to be working for a provider that offers quality live-in care, that truly enhances the lives of its clients.

As Care Manager at Oxford Aunts, I am responsible for ensuring our clients and their families have a dedicated point of contact who truly understands their requirements and can support their service. I have a deep understanding of our carers, not just in terms of their skills and experience, but their personalities and values. This means I can effectively match our carers with clients to ensure, not just their care needs are met but that the carer is aligned to how the client wishes to live their life. I work closely with our Care Assessor which means our clients have a highly personalised care plan that accurately reflect their needs. As part of our multidisciplinary approach to care I work closely with other healthcare professionals, including district nurses, physiotherapist and occupational therapists to ensure a holistic approach to care delivery.

Wendy NewsomeI am originally from New Zealand, where I started my career in a hospital setting where I was a Senior Care Assistant in a Specialist Dementia Care Unit. I decided to come to the UK to develop my career further in care, whilst spending time with my grandparents.

I joined Oxford Aunts in November 2015 as a live-in carer. Having researched a number of live-in care providers to potentially work for, Oxford Aunts was the stand- out choice given its reputation for providing high quality care in Oxfordshire. I have been supported by the team in my role and afforded an opportunity to develop my career and I am now a Care Assessor. I feel privileged to support people to live safely and happily in the comfort of their own home, with all the benefits that brings. I am proud to be part of the Oxford Aunts team, who have the welfare of their clients at heart.

As a Care Assessor at Oxford Aunts, I am responsible for ensuring our clients can live well in their own homes with care and support from our live-in carer, whilst providing both the client, their families and our carers any support they may need. From the initial assessment of a client’s needs to the on-going review of our service, I provide high levels of support to ensure the standards of care Oxford Aunts are renowned for.

I have an NZQA National Certificate in the Support of the Older Person.
