How Our Services Are Arranged

Please complete our registration and job description forms in as much detail as possible and return them to us. We can send you forms upon request, or you can print them off (Registration Form PDF and Job Description Form PDF) or complete and submit them on line (Registration & Job Description Forms on line) from this website. We will then telephone you with an estimated costing and arrange a home assessment visit if you agree in principle. Our written estimate will then be sent, together with our terms and conditions and further information about our organisation.

It is essential to include reasonable time off in the job description to help make the placement of staff successful. In placements of up to two weeks please allow at least 3 hours break each day. In complex circumstances or longer placements, please also include a more substantial break of approximately 10 hours on one of the days each week.

During our visit a member of our assessment team will discuss your requirements, carry out a health and safety risk assessment and gather information to draw up a draft care plan for your approval. They will also be able to answer any questions you may have about our organisation and our terms of business. Please note that we reserve the right to charge a fee of £98 if you decide not to take up our services following our home assessment visit.

Following a successful home visit we will contact you with details of a suitable care worker. When you have talked to the care worker and the placement has been agreed, we will organise travel arrangements and let you know the estimated date and time of arrival.

If you need longer-term help a member of the assessment team will arrange to visit you again within six weeks.

Your care worker will be expected to monitor your requirements on a daily basis and will be asked to discuss with you any concerns that they may have or any changes they feel may be necessary to your care plan. We will also visit you every four to eight months to review your care plan on a formal basis.

A member of our assessment team will visit from time to time to supervise your care worker. Your care worker will also be required to attend our offices for further training and a peer group supervision session from time to time.
