About our Services

Introduction

Thank you for considering Oxford Aunts. We hope that the following information is helpful but please contact us if you require further details.

We offer fully managed live-in services for adults of all ages in their own homes. Live-in help and care is assessed individually and tailored to your requirements. We include an initial home assessment visit, care plan, regular review visits, regular telephone contact, plus the support that you may need. In addition, care workers are paid by us, supervised on a regular basis, undertake induction training and are offered ongoing training.

Our live-in care workers are carefully assessed as to their skills and aptitude and will provide the domestic help and personal care that you need in a sensible and competent way, plus be a reassuring presence in your home, either on a temporary or longer-term basis.

Temporary live-in help and care can be arranged at difficult or busy times: after discharge from hospital, during periods of illness, or as relief for a relative or another carer.

Longer-term live-in help and care can be arranged to enable you to remain and enjoy living in your own home. In order to provide continuity, we aim to place careers with you for three months at a time, rather than changing every two or three weeks. This keeps travel costs to a minimum. Sometimes care workers will stay much longer but occasionally we only have staff free for shorter periods. Finding one person to live-in long-term is difficult but the care workers we provide very often return again and again to the same client. Over the years, we have helped many clients to remain living in thier own homes.
