We need to hear from care givers with a range of caring skills:
- As a basic live-in care giver you will need some previous “hands on” personal care experience to meet at least level two of our job description as set out on this website, bathing, dressing, toileting, etc.
- If you are a more experienced care giver or have a nursing background or training, then your duties could involve assistance with complex personal or emotional care needs.
You must possess a current driving licence – preferably for manual cars. You will also need the ability to run a home, cook to a reasonable standard and be prepared to assist with housework.
Everyonewho works for us must complete a UK police check (known as CRB). The identification documents you will need for your CRB application will vary depending on your particular circumstances. We will tell you what documents you can use but please contact us if you need clarification or further advice. Please also read "Do I need a Police Check" in FAQs.
We are situated in the beautiful city of Oxford and our clients live within a 80 mile radius, mainly in small country towns and villages. We also have placements in London and Cambridge. You must be eligible to work in the UK by one of the following:-
- An ancestry visa available by virtue of having a UK parent or grandparent
- A British passport
- An EU passport
- A visa under the Youth Mobility Scheme available to young Australian citizens up to the age of 30.
Australian interviews can be arranged in Brisbane and Melbourne and their surrounding areas.
Otherwise interviews can be arranged in the UK.
