Induction Training

You will need to undergo our four day induction training following a successful interview before you start work so you should allow for this in your travel plans and expenditure.  Induction training is absolutely free and will stand you in good stead wherever you work in the UK.  You will also be given workbooks and signed certificates of attendance.  Induction Training dates are available on request.  You will need to contact us BEFORE you book you flight over so that we can book you a place.

We will pay reasonable travel expenses from London plus a daily lunch allowance.  However, accommodation isn’t included so you will need to arrange and pay for this yourself.  You can also take advantage of the time to see Oxford which is a very beautiful city with theatres, art galleries, concerts and lots of clubs and restaurants!  The YHA is very reasonably priced and also gives you a good breakfast but for more information about accommodation and Oxford City visit their website at: www.visitoxford.org.  Please note that booking in to our induction training is subject to satisfactory interview and references.

Further Training & Supervision

When you start working for us, you will be required to undertake ongoing training which will be paid extra at an hourly rate plus reasonable travel costs.  We currently run short courses from time-to-time on the following subjects:-

We also assist carers with NVQ2 training in domiciliary care.  You will also have a one-to-one supervision session and a peer group supervision once every 12 weeks.
